I realize it's necessary, but I don't have to like it. To wit: as of February 13th, Live365 listeners will have to be logged in to listen to shoutcast streams. You'll have to remain logged in and go to the Live365 page to be able to listen to Radio Nosferatu. Mind, you can stay logged in 24/7 via the "Remember Me" on the page. Anyway, here's the scoop:

Off topic (and I know you're into audio vs. video) but have you experienced the "ephemeral movies" at www.archive.org in the Prelinger archives? Some great stuff, including "Duck and Cover" and other classics, a lot from Encyclopaedia Brittanica and other sources in the 50s and 60s.

Right now I'm downloading an anti-porn polemic made in 1965 by Charles Keating.... (Sr.?)

Well of course! Too many people got tired of having to close the 5 million fucking pop-up windows when you use the l365 player window, so, they just started listening to the stream directly.
