*rubs eyes* Somebody want to remind me why I got into internet radio, again?

Folks, Radio N needs help. More specifically, we need a dedicated Windows box that pretty much exists for the sole purpose of being our shoutcast station. That would involved one drive for the system, and another of about 60 gig or so for the mp3s. Incoming traffic would be relatively negligible(sp?), limited to the requests being taken by the streaming audio manager prog, and to mp3s being sent to the machine to update the playlist.

Outgoing traffic, at least at first while we keep ourselves to a stream suitable for dialups, would be roughly 15-20 gig a month. What that is, of course, is the shoutcast stream itself being fed to the servers that the rest of the world picks up the stream from.

Anyone feeling especially charitable?

You do it for all the topless Goth Chicks out there. :) Remember them... they need to bounce to keep warm, and they need RN to bounce to. :)
