docwebsterI just got a call from my idiot father a little while ago. He thought he was just having a really nasty stomach ache. To make a long story short, it wasn't a stomach ache. No, his gall bladder is shot to hell. He called after getting home from the hospital, where said organ is now an ex-parrot. Oy, and likewise vey (to quote the sage).

Date: 2006-02-06 01:20 am (UTC)I've been there had mine totally removed when I was 25 and I honestly thought it was a severe back pain. I went to the hospital at 3:00am and they didn't do a proper check up, a week later totally dehydrated and so very sick I went back and was admitted right away and scheduled for surgery.
I hope he'll be alright, he'll probably need to watch his diet after this.
