Given that the major airports are a couple hours east and west of here (albeit with a snappy shuttle service), who among you maniacs would be willing to come to a RealSpace gathering at my house?

I'm thinking of having one later this year, so it would be very cool to drag some of you basket cases here to the dense, dark, deep jungles of Columbia.

I'd love to, but damn... got one wedding in West Virginia in June, my wedding in July, honeymoon in August, and DragonCon on Labour Day weekend, and James flying home to Australia in October.... if it were late October, early November I could maybe manage that.

Depends on when. It sounds like a blast, and we're moving a lot closer to you in a couple of weeks. Once we're settled in a little I've love to go a-visiting but I don't foresee that being an option for a couple of months at least.

We're buying our house early fall, and already have plans to send dandelion_diva and sammy_grrrl via train to California with me taking a red-eye flight both ways. If we knew it was next year, we could start planning/budgeting now..

Yeah, i'm afraid all our vacation is tapped out for this year. This also means we won't make it to the Horror Weekend in August. :-( and I wanted to have Rutger Hauer sign my DVD copy of "Blade Runner" in white gel ink. :-( oh well. I shall survive somehow.
