Buchanan and Matthews utterly disembowel the Neocons

Let me emphasize that in the video I'm about to link to, Pat f'ing Buchanan and Chris Matthews plus one other guy I have no idea who he is utterly shred the Warmonger In Chief and the entire Neocon movement. I imagine the Bush apologists will skip this, but reality is reality and this head in the sand la la la I can't hear you crap can't hide the truth these men are speaking.

My thanks to [livejournal.com profile] filkertom for linking to this amazing piece of video from MSNBC.

Wow. That is the Pat Buchanan, right? Not some other guy with the same name?

Buchanan's a good paleoconservative, and has been opposed to the big government neo-(i.e., pseudo-)conservatives for years. His book "A Republic, Not An Empire" is an effective indictment of neocon foreign policy. I don't like his protectionist bent or his social conservatism, but when it comes to opposing political interventionism, he does pretty well.

I don't want to live in a world where Pat Buchanan is the voice of moderation and reason in the Republican party. It's too scary.
