I went to get my passport process started yesterday and I was shocked and royally pissed off to find out that the one place in the continental United States you can use a credit card to pay for a passport is the State Department. So as time is running out and fast for me to get this started and I'm flat busted for cash, I'm going to have a whip 'round. A "Get Doc Buggered Off To Manchester" drive, if you will.

Now lest you think this is just me mooching, let me sweeten the deal. I fully intend after I get to Manchester and get settled in to make a matching donation in the amount of the total amount donated to the move to cancer and MS research once I get available money.

In all honesty folks, I could use some help here to get moved and be with my lady. Any assistance will be greatly appreciated and to those who can't help, God bless ya and have a pint on me.

The passport itself with expedited processing - which is needed as it normally takes a month and a half at about minimum - and shipping costs like 187 dollars and change. But there's other stuff as well like the visa so whatever folks can kick in would be well appreciated and won't have to go on my poor beleagured MasterCard.
