You all know how big a fan I am of KISS. Well, *yet again* the boys got left out of the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame. Let's have a look at who did make it in, shall we?

Van Halen - good choice, no question about it.

The Ronettes - Again, good call.

Patti Smith - Long past due, I'd say.

R.E.M. - One of the standard bearers of alternative rock, so yes very much agreed.

Grandmaster Flash And The Furious Five - HUH??

Prince is in there, Grandmaster Flash is in there, but KISS isn't good enough for these assholes? WTF?

Please keep snide remarks about the band's commercialism out of this discussion, as I think they're bullshit anyway. But can somebody explain to me what the living live heck is going on when a rap act - albeit one of the founding fathers of the genre - makes it in but KISS *doesn't* yet again?

*sigh* Life is rarely fair. In any case, KISS no more needs the acknowledgement of the Hall of Fame than Gene needs another reality TV series ;). The music speaks for itself. Their legacy is secure

when it boils down to it, music is a business, and Gene Simmons is a HELL of a business man. He will license Kiss for just about anything.

I agree, Kiss should totally be in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
