oh that's sad. he was part of my childhood tv experience.
i am sure he would appreciate the irony of being prevented from playing Wanda the Cook by dying from an infection usually caused by eating contaminated food.

I adored him. He was funny in a way that so few are today. Brilliant at his craft, and from what I hear, a love of a person.
