Just got back from the emergency room. Reader's Digest version -taking out garbage in the garage, slipped, and sliced my left inside forearm wide open on a busted light tube. Stopped just short of the tendons, big nasty long cut. Blood. LOTS of blood.

I got extremely lucky on two counts - one, the assistant professor of surgery was on hand to do the stitching. Two, Ranada was right there when it happened. So yeah, things could have been much, much worse.

Ow.

Buffy just closed one Hellmouth, and now you go and risk creating another one under your garage?

Seriously, glad you're okay. Maybe you can come to Phoenix some time and we can compare scars. I don't have any one scar that bad, but I bet I can still top you in quantity... ;-)
