I'm so unhip, it's a wonder my bum doesn't fall off (Z. Beeblebrox, philosopher)

I have yet to at any point ever done any of the following: seen anything directed by Kevin Smith, read a Harry Potter book or seen a Harry Potter movie. seen any of the Lord Of The flipping great Rings movies or given much of a fig about any of the above. My personal addictions quota is quite well filled by teh intarwebs and City Of Heroes, I suppose. Well, that and coffee. Plus cats. Yes. *nod*

All I ask is that you rent Dogma at some point. If only to see George Carlin playing a Catholic cardinal.

Well, as a children's librarian and lit. crit. person, all I can say is, don't bother reading the last two HP books. They suck royally. Something happened to JK's writing between Order of the Phoenix and the Half-Baked Plot Half-Blood Prince--the last two books are like fanfiction. Very bad, very poorly written fanfiction.
