He's apparently far from alone, Fox believes the number of other soldiers who are being asked to return part of their bonuses because they were wounded is in the thousands. We'll talk to his mother here tomorrow night. But even if his was the only case like this, the Pentagon and this administration should be hanging its collective head in shame. The letter Fox received about his SEB, his Selective Enlistment Bonus, actually uses the phrase "indebtedness due us". You, you jackasses, are indebted to Jordan Fox and everybody like him. The military's SEB Division, today's Worst Persons In The World."

I honestly wish I could be surprised by this sort of thing, but after my mind-boggling interactions with gov't agencies, I'm too bitter and cynical to do much more than carefully add names to my list of "those first against the wall when the revolution comes".
