(Although it does figure it would be one of the Subgenius on my flist that would find this)

Genties and ladlemen, I give you quite possibly the single most unique rendering of Bohemian Rhapsody evar. The words, they fail me. Just watch, my children, and marvel at the limitless possibilities of the human spirit.

Oh come now. Hand music can't be the MOST unique you can think of or find, can it? I've heard it done in farts, for example. And on glasses. And done in cat meows!

....um. This sounds like one of those things used to make the space noises on old sci fi films. A marvelous machine the name of which I am not remembering at the moment, but I have to say as cute as it is, I seriously doubt that man is actually making those noises with his hands.

This http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Theremin is what I was thinking it might be, though I have been sternly reproached for thinking so :-P Apparently we just have a very tortured,er, talented man here. Does anyone know why he looks so miserable??

i fart in your general melody

I noticed the same thing. At least toward the end he starts moving his head a little, like he's not absolutely transfixed by the spectrum analyzer behind the camera or whatever.

The sound and the picture don't quite match. It sounds like an electric kazoo but when he spreads his hands after flubbing the last few phrases what I'd taken as the microphone and cord vanishes into a ring . . . Curious.

I bet this guy'd be a kick at karaoke.

BTW thanks for the theremin link -- fun with proximity.

*grin* The concept is fun regardless of how it was accomplished...It just seems less than plausible that it is fact :-P
