One of the many things that didn't make it with us was our grand old crock pot. Therefore, we need to buy a new one. Do you lot have any particular recommendations?
Something that comes up often in what_a_crock is the fact that newer crocks seem to be set at much higher temps than older ones, so whatever you wind up getting, "break it in" with a recipe you can make in your sleep, and watch it carefully to see how long it actually takes to finish compared to what you're used to.
