Wow! Considering that 18 years is the upper limit of an average cat's lifespan, this poor kitty appears to have been incredibly lucky surviving to such a ripe old age -- after nearly a decade all on her own in a big city, no worse for the hazards than being a tad emaciated. Hooray for the concerned resident who reported spotting her.

I had to check that, because at first I thought maybe it was just a cat that looked like theirs. 9 years???!

I hope her remaining years are happy ones.
