Well, nuts.

Me dear old Grandmother Sutherland passed away last night. The gloriously stubborn old goat apparently had a heart attack on Thursday and pretty much went downhill from there.

You have my sympathies.

I'm so sorry for your loss...but anybody who can be described as a stubborn old goat sounds like she lived her life well. Unto her may there be granted the accomplishment of her Will; yea, the accomplishment of her Will.

[identity profile] docwebster.livejournal.com 2009-03-17 06:01 pm (UTC)(link)
And my condolences on your loss, belated as they may otherwise be.

Grandma was amazing. She was a wing walker in those old stunt airshow after WW2. Paralyzed vocals cords not long ago, but by damn she still managed to talk and until the day she died she still had that flash in her eye. I really wish I knew how to summarize her, but she loved me and I loved her. What else needs to be said, really?

That's the perfect eulogy, right there. May your Grandmother rest in peace, and may you and all who loved her find comfort in memory.
