Because Matthew Shepard Can't, & I Can - THAT'S why.

(Oh, and if there's by chance anybody reading this who helped pass that abomination in Maine - go eff yourself - and secondly if you object to seeing this quite likely (I hope) more than a few times on your friends list, please do the human race a favor and don't ever reproduce.)

I understand the issue. I think everyone deserves to be treated with civility. The issue of the issue is as follows. Gay people are born from straight marriages, not gay marriages, therefore gay marriages aren't functional.

Please don't be mad, I am not preaching hate only sanity, and I really do understand the issue. People have rights to do almost whatever they want, though they certainly do not have the right to tax cuts for their perversions. People are allowed to dye their hair, in a way that is a perversion also. People are allowed to eat junk food.

Here is where the mess starts. Legal recognition of marriage exists primarily for the protection of the children that will result from a hopefully successful marriage. Failed marriages and ones that don't bear children don't mean that those people are failures. Okay, when people decide they're in love and want to have children the rest of the world can okay that and say that if any other man or woman wants to mess with them that's adultery and that if the other party gets punched in the face, then everyone knows they were not supposed to be.

Now, when gay people expect the same kind of recognition for their hobbies, it isn't sex it is really just a hobby, then society will never accept that, and they should not be expected to give tax breaks to mentally ill people.

Since gay people can't reproduce and lack of reproduction is death therefore gayness is a disease since it ends in death rather than life.

Okay, diseases do not need tax breaks, it's a cancer on society.

I totally agree.

I walked out of my church.. twice.. over this stuff.

I'm not going to sit there and listen to the hate being spread when I know its wrong.

Let's get out of here before the lightning bolts strike!
