Last night I got my digital meathooks on a version of the concert I'd always heard about but never had the chance to actually hear - the BBC broadcast version. This is the version complete with interviews, the linkup with South Africa, all of it, every last performer.

I was going to play the version that was broadcast on MTV again this weekend, but after getting this I'll wait a week or so so folks can definitely be around to hear this amazing event.

Yah. This version, converted into mp3s from Flac, is so going in the care package. So's another big surprise, he cackled evilly. Any chance you'll be around to listen next weekend? I mean, I realize you'll be busy and all and probably can't get on IRC or whatever, but I pretty much figured you'd want to hear this.
