ARGH!

Okay, yesterday morning I see that that back rent (due because of miscommunication between the realty company and your faithful correspondents) and all had run through the bank. It had taken what we had in there plus the overdraft protection to do it, but it had gone through. We'd have managed. Now this morning I look and it's completely gone from the history, no bounce, no evidence it ever ran at all and it's still showing us as over? Somebody's got some explaining to do and it ain't me. Just fscking once it'd be nice to get through a day without my stomach ending up in knots from J Random Fsckup. Jesus Christ, it would be so nice.

This is why I said start paying by money order or bank check - you cut out all this unbalanced stuff. Stop giving them the chance to put you through all that.

But wait, it gets stranger. Apparently the realty people got the money after all, according to them. It's the web interface thingy that's mucked up. But yeah, you've got a point. I swear things were easier to deal with when we stuck with tin cans and string.

Sadly, I bet they could even gum up the cans and string.

My concern is, it's not worth having to get that clench in the gut. If you can eliminate the step causing the clench, you lower your stress levels by a lot. And lower stress for you and yours is what I'm rooting for!
