Well, at least on my old Compaq laptop. It's installing various updates as we speak. What I'd really love to do is find a UVNC compatible server to install so I can remote log into it from one of my Windows machines. Any ideas, you Ubuntu-savvy folk?

I've been running xUbuntu on my Toshiba laptop for quite some time. Works great!.

tightvnc-server is the VNC server that I use on both Ubuntu and Windows. It's available in the apt repository.

apt-cache search tightvnc:
tightvncserver - virtual network computing server software
