I haven't gone.. ahem.. solid in several days. The past couple days I've noticed enough blood in the bowl to make it look like I'm having a particularly heavy period. Which would sort of be a neat trick considering I'm very much male.

Therefore it's very obvious the stress of my "real life" situation is having a rather marked physical effect on me. Also therefore two things become immediately obvious: I need to see a doctor and things have got to settle down.

I really don't know what else to say.

I can assure you that hospitals have programs to help those who can't afford it pay for necessary medical care and follow-up. So far over $78,O00 of my brain tumor-related medical bills have been paid (100% of at least 8 different billing accounts which may also have included the bill for the kidney stone incident) through UW's Community Care program and letters are still turning up saying things have been paid that I didn't even know I owed. Of course, that does nothing to help the fact that I'm on financial aid suspension from school, have no way to pay rent/electric/living expenses/necessary meds/etc until that's rectified, and have to somehow make it through until at LEAST Aug 29 and probably later before that's resolved, but it's one LESS thing I have to worry about, especially with another brain surgery coming up in early August. =/ In other words, I know where you're comin' from though I'm lucky enough to have a roof over my head at the moment.
If you really feel you need to see a doctor for any reason, go to the ER (where they can't turn you away), explain that you have little/no income, then ask to speak to a social worker.
