Here's a tip, folks.

If you ever want to make me nearly insensate with anger and disgust, repeat some variant on the simple minded drivel that if you're against the war you're: (a) a coward, (b) against the war means you're against the troops, (c) against the war so you're obviously supporting Hussein, (d) against the war so you've obviously a turrist sympathizer, or (e) all of the above.

I heard the following quote once, but can't place where:

There's nothing wrong with patriotism, defined as "love of my country", until you define "love" as "blind unquestioning worship" and "my country" as "the man in the White House."
