[livejournal.com profile] shadesong got me the Intellivision version of this for $Winterholiday. There's also an Activision one, and a Capcom one.

Disclaimer: If you're a 'leet hardcore old-school gaming purist, I highly suggest a playtest or three before buying. These are emulations--not embedded 2600 hardware--and some games are not emulated as well as others.

On the other hand, if you're a casual gamer and feeling nostalgic, these rock! :-)

I was going to get that for Jeff, and then forgot till it was insanely popular and the only place I could get it was at Costco, where he would have instantly seen it...which, I find, ruins the surprise.

So, I'm hoping there aren't a run on them for Valentine's day. *grin*

Gessi...what? Video games aren't romantic?

I came across something at The Stupidly Huge Malla couple weeks back that had something hideous like 27000 games in it. It was interesting. I don't remember the name of it though, and the booth is probably gone since the gift buying season is past. :(
