There's something really pathetic about my internet friends giving more of a damn about my birthday than my own fucking flesh and blood family. I got one card, and that was from Ranada's Aunt Patty who I don't even like. But hey, she sent a card and twenty bucks so I'm not going to complain.

I'm going to go back to bed now. Feh.

That's nothing. Precisely ONE of my family members *other* than my kid brother's mum gave a shit when my kid brother suffered a really horrible bout of appendicitis and THEN had to go BACK into hospital due to infection... he's like 15 at the time and on morphine, and my mum and my gran visited, and that was IT. Grrrr.
