Date: 2005-05-19 11:49 pm (UTC)He is a passionate man but his passion tends to be for himself. I personally don't like "gorgeous george" very much but this last week has given me a new found respect for him.
There is absolutely no evidence that he personally profited from his assosciation with Iraq, the worst that can be said is that Sadam passed money through channels to his organisations so that they would be able to function and he would have someone putting his side of things in the UK.
Very funny to see a Republican senator accusing someone else of buying political access. Bad idea to call a scots honour into question.
