To be completely honest, the fact that this woman had any idea in her head that he'd join the military and come home OK is so fucking naieve it makes my head hurt.
She got to meet him once, too. I don't have a problem with her protesting (and would more than likely be right up next to her if i was there) but like, Jesus. Your son joined the military. He's going to get killed. The End.
People need to realize that first. All the anti-war protesting isn't gonna do squat.
