The capacity for selective outrage never ceases to amaze me, I'm as guilty of it as anyone else. Secondly, I am not for a second suggesting that Don's comments were anything but wildly inappropriate and that he shouldn't have been called on the carpet for it.

But what does make me Spock my eyebrow is this torch bearing citizeny mood about it. People are stopping just short of calling for the man to be strung up, for heaven's sake, and lo and behold, the Main Stream Media (you know, that eeeeevil bastion of liberal politics and sensibilities) have helped whip up this feeding frenzy. What I want to know is, why? Where the hell were the MSM or people calling for his head when Ann Coulter called Muslims ragheads? For that matter, where were they when Bill O'Reilly said it would be okay by him if Al Qaeda attacked San Francisco? Or Michael Savage anytime he opens his mouth? I just don't get it.

I don't know who Don Imus is, and really don't give a shit one way or another. I think both the far left and far right are a bunch of asshats.

What gets me is the team held a press conference about how hurt they were by the white guy's comments, but no one ever says a damn thing about "gangsta rap" which is far worse.

I'm not much into the blue collar comedy tour or redneck comedy or anything like that, but Ron White is fucking hysterical.

He was telling some gay jokes, which to be a bit more accurate, was his lack of understanding "how it was done" when he was a kid.

He then stated "if you're gay, and you're offended, I'm sorry, I was just pokin a little fun, you have the right to do what you want to do.."

"Just like I have the right to say what I want to say."
