Son of Well, now.
I generally don't talk about my weight, much, because I don't want people to worry like I know they would. Well, today I weighed myself for the first time in months and from my top weight of 425 pounds, I am now down to 380.
That's even better when you factor in that I've only just over the past couple days started doing The Slimfast Thing and taking in anywhere two to four time less calories than I used to. Go, me. Yay.

although, if you're trying to lose weight, please try not to diet - i know this probably sounds retarded, but you should probably do a "lifestyle change" instead of 1/2 starving yourself with the slimfast. you still need the nutrition and the healthy stuff, and after the weight is gone, you cant possibly live on slimfasts forever.
uh, i hope i'm not treading on "none of your business" ground here, but speaking as an ex-anorexic/bulimic, diets are stupid. you just need to find a heating style that helps you.

being number dyslexic...
the only thing to do is alter your diet to a low fat one that is very halthy and tasy and stick to it forever. for the rest fo your life. no more junk food. and exercise - at least an hour walking a day - brisk walking inc hills at the very least.

..i don't have any real good tips for you -- i'm one of those nasty little people who was blessed with a high metabolism and a healty dose of hyperactivity.. so.. yeah. i've never really worried about my weight, except for a few very breif points.. so i can't offer much advice..
...what i can offer, however, is my unflaggin cheerleadership, and happy-bouncy excitement for you when you do good.. just ask adam. it helps. :P and i'll be a good li'l denmomma at you, too, and poke at you to make sure you're eating right, and stuffs.
congrats, though. that's wonderful!

May I suggest walking as an excercise to accompany the calories reduction? Great excercise, and you can slowly increase distances as you like.

Are you able to have your doc refer you to a nutritionist? A lot of folks find that it does help them a lot. A lot of folks also eat reasonably healthy.. they just eat too much. I think its from having our mothers make us eat everything on our plates. I have dropped over 100 lbs since I had Jason. I am still as big as a house, but I have found that eating and stopping when I am no longer hungry has done a lot for me. I also have an excersize bike. Mine is a semi recumbant bike with a chair type seat.. It doesnt go up yer heinie to give you a super wedgie :)
Ta!
